Zesday Promotions, Offers & Sponsored Listings Policy
Version: 1.0 Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy explains customer offers and paid restaurant promotion on Zesday. It supplements the Customer Terms, Restaurant Partner Agreement and applicable campaign terms shown before activation.
1. Clear offer information
Before a customer applies or activates an offer, Zesday will display the material conditions available to us, such as validity period, eligible location or outlet, minimum order, eligible items, payment method, usage limit, discount cap, exclusions and whether another offer can be combined. A crossed-out or reference price must reflect a genuine price basis and must not be created solely to exaggerate a saving.
Offers may be funded by Zesday, a restaurant, a payment partner or jointly. Where relevant, the checkout price breakdown identifies the applied discount and material fees. An offer does not override taxes, regulated charges or an expressly disclosed cancellation/refund consequence.
2. Promo-code operation
A promo code is applied only when the cart and account meet its displayed eligibility rules. Codes may be personal, single-use, inventory-limited or geo-fenced. We may refuse or reverse a benefit obtained through duplicate accounts, automation, resale, collusion, payment abuse, false referrals or another material breach. We will not withdraw an already confirmed benefit merely because a campaign budget later runs out, except for manifest pricing error, fraud or legal necessity.
When an order is partly or fully refunded, the cash refund and restoration of a coupon or benefit follow the displayed campaign and refund terms. A non-cash promotional benefit has no cash value unless explicitly stated.
3. Sponsored placement
Restaurants may pay for eligible promotional placement. Every paid placement must carry a clear label such as Sponsored, Ad or Promoted that is visually distinguishable before selection. Payment can influence the position of a labelled placement; it does not buy a higher customer rating, food-safety status, fabricated endorsement or removal of genuine reviews.
Sponsored eligibility and ordering may consider campaign bid/budget, distance and serviceability, live operating status, delivery feasibility, item availability, customer relevance, campaign quality and safety/compliance status. A paid campaign does not guarantee impressions, clicks, orders or exclusivity unless its written campaign terms state otherwise.
4. Hyper-local and personalised promotion
Where a campaign is described as "near you" or uses a stated radius, eligibility is evaluated using the customer's selected delivery location or permitted device location and the restaurant outlet location. Location accuracy, road access and serviceability can affect results. Personalised ordering may use order history, saved preferences, dietary settings, time, approximate location and interaction signals as described in the Privacy and Cookie Policies.
Customers must still be able to recognise organic and sponsored results. Advertising frequency and repetition may be limited to reduce fatigue. Customer ranking or recommendation controls offered by the Platform do not guarantee that every eligible restaurant appears.
5. Restaurant campaign duties
Restaurants must provide accurate creative, pricing, stock, funding share, dates, eligibility and substantiation for every claim. They must not advertise unavailable items, counterfeit scarcity, hidden conditions, guaranteed health outcomes, competitor impersonation or content that is discriminatory, unsafe or unlawful. Zesday may reject, label, pause or terminate a campaign and may recover customer remediation caused by inaccurate restaurant-supplied terms.
6. Complaints and corrections
Customers can report an unavailable benefit or misleading placement from the relevant order/help flow or at support@zesty.in. Restaurants can dispute campaign delivery, billing or moderation through the partner app. We preserve campaign and pricing records for reasonable audit, fraud, tax and dispute purposes.
