Zesday Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy

Version: 1.0 Last updated: 14 August 2026

This policy explains how Zesday websites and mobile applications use cookies, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, local storage and similar technologies. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

1. Technology categories

  • Strictly necessary: authentication, account security, cart continuity, consent storage, load balancing, fraud prevention and core checkout functions.
  • Preferences: language, location choice, accessibility, dietary mode and interface settings.
  • Measurement and reliability: aggregated usage, crashes, performance, experiments and feature effectiveness.
  • Personalisation: restaurant, dish, search and offer ordering based on permitted preference and interaction signals.
  • Advertising: campaign measurement, frequency control, attribution and delivery of relevant sponsored placements where permitted.

The exact provider and lifetime may change as our services evolve. We require providers to handle data under contract and for authorised purposes.

2. Web choices

Where required, the website presents a consent control before placing non-essential technologies. You may accept, reject or change optional categories through the cookie/privacy settings offered on the site. Strictly necessary technologies cannot be disabled through that control because the requested service may not work without them. Browser controls can also delete or block storage, but may sign you out or reset preferences.

3. Mobile-app choices

Apps may use SDKs for security, maps, notifications, payments, reliability, analytics and campaign measurement. Device operating-system settings can control precise location, notifications, advertising identifiers and certain tracking permissions. Denying optional permission will not remove unrelated core access, although a feature that needs that permission may not work.

Rider background location is operational rather than advertising tracking and is governed by the Privacy Policy and Delivery Partner Agreement. It should be collected only during the states and for the purposes disclosed in the app.

4. Data and retention

Signals may include pseudonymous identifiers, device/browser properties, IP-derived approximate location, pages or screens viewed, campaign interactions, session timing, crash data and consent state. We retain them only as long as reasonably required for the purpose, security, legal duties and disputes, then delete or de-identify them in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

5. Contact

For privacy questions or to exercise an available data right, contact support@zesty.in. Requests are handled under the Privacy and Grievance Redressal Policies.
